DISTAS, Mary Ellen

passed away suddenly at the Sault Area Hospital (General) on Saturday, September 27, 2003 in her 61st year. Beloved wife of Dominic Distasi and loving mother of Sandy Distasi and Andrea Bigelow (Kevin). Dear daughter of Eda and the late Umberto Marzetti. Sister of Anna Marie Defend (Dino). Sister-in-law of Pasqualina Fasulo (Angelo), Vincenza Cioe (late Tony) and the late Carmela Catalano (late Antonio) and the late Teresa Fuoco (late Dante). She is also survived by many nephews and nieces. Friends may call at O’Sullivan Donnelly Funeral Home, corner of Cathcart and St. James Sts, Tuesday September 30th from 6-9pm. Funeral mass Wednesday, October 1st, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Cathcart St at 11 am with Rev. Victor Amadio officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
