With heart felt sorrow we say goodbye to an amazing wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Joanne Elizabeth (nee Evans) Dinsmore passed away suddenly on Saturday April 4, 2020. Born February 3, 1941 in Sault Ste. Marie, she was the daughter of the late Ernie and Elsie Evans. Loved by her late husband Joseph Lee Dinsmore of 58 years., her children, Daryl (Monica Tos), Rhonda (Steve Berry), Craig and Shawn (Stephanie Agawa). Proud and caring grandmother of Alex, Cody, Dustin, Riley, Brody and Matthew. Cherished and loved sister of the late Norman (Pam), late Wayne (Carol), Ronnie (Barb), Larry (Judy) Dale (late Wendy), Brian (Debbie), Carol Horne (Tom), Merle (Linda), Kathy Haynes (late Jim), Terry (Karen) and Lloyd (Joanne). Special thank you to the Sault Paramedics and hospital for showing care and compassion during this difficult time. You fought and beat cancer; you supported and were a strong advocate for your husband during his battle with dementia. Whenever you felt something wasn’t right you were up front and center to challenge the wrong. You gave us the strength to be strong for you mom. We will cherish and live on through your memory.
