It is with great sadness that the Di Sabatino family announce the passing of Carmine Di Sabatino, born in Villa Petto, Abruzzi, Italy, on September 25, 1926. He will be missed by his wife Olga (nee Fera) of 65 years. Beloved father of Maria Branje (Tony) of Barrie, and Anthony Di Sabatino (Patti). Grandfather to Carmen John Branje (Vanessa) of Toronto, Amanda Parker (Richard) and the late Tara Di Sabatino. Cherished great-grandfather (Papa Carmine) of Maya and Sara Branje of Toronto. Devoted brother-in-law of Angelo Fera (late Helen Fera), Gino Fera (Ester Fera) and Norman Fera (Richard Gasparini). He will be missed by many loving nieces and nephews. Friends may visit at the Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kitelely Chapel (492 Wellington St. E, 705-759-2522) on Sunday, October 21, 2018 from 6 – 9 pm. Funeral service in the chapel on Monday, October 22, 2018 at 11 am. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated. The family would like to thank the wonderful PSW workers and all members of the Red Cross who went above and beyond their call of duty. Their dedication was exemplary. We would also like to thank Kim from Bayshore Nursing who helped our father. Thanks to Dr. Berry and the Renal Clinic staff, Dr. Taylor, Dr. Berg, Dr. Buller, Dr. Gravelle, Dr. Iulius and Dr. Landry who showed compassion to our father in his last hours. We would also like to acknowledge the wonderful nurses on Level 3C and the ICU of the Sault Area Hospital. Special thanks to Rita Rollins who showed loving support to our mother and father.
