January 15, 1932 - October 2, 2022 - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of "Stan" Deplonty at the age of 90.
Devoted husband of Shirley Ellen Cort Deplonty. Proud father of, Jenny Richards (Jeff), Cyndi Deplonty, Lois McKenzie (Scott) and Richard Deplonty (Louise). Stan is predeceased by 8 brothers and sisters and leaves behind his siblings, Verna Sunior and Clarence Deplonty (Blanche). Loving grandfather, great grandfather, great-great grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend to many.
Stan worked hard all of his life, where he began a life of labour as young child and remained actively involved in repairing farming equipment until recently. He worked for many years as a auto mechanic, before becoming a master heavy duty equipment mechanic. Stan will be fondly remembered for his ability to make something out of nothing. He enjoyed sharing his life experiences and telling stories which were occasionally embellished.
Friends and Family are invited to attend a graveside service in Stan's honor at the Cloudslee Cemetery in Cloudslee on Friday, October 7, 2022 at 4:00 pm. Arrangements entrusted to Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E., 705-759-2522). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made payable to the Humane Society of Sault Ste.
