Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Wednesday January 27th, 2021 at the age of 72. Linda is survived by her loving husband Boris. She leaves behind her children Steve (Misha) and Brent (Kylie). Much loved grandmother to Makks, Ryder and Rex. Predeceased by her parents Kay and Max Williams. Sister to the late Susan (Bob, Sandie) Rathwell, Kathie (Phil) Zuccato, late Bill (Karen, Ed McDougall) and Chris (Tim) Reid of Thamesville, Ontario. Daughter-in-law of the late Harry and Mary Demidovich. Sister-in-law of Bill (Donna) Demidovich of British Columbia and Lydia (Louie) Soave of Thunder Bay, Ontario. Linda will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Linda was a hockey grandma and enjoyed watching her grandchildren’s games. She adored babysitting her youngest grandson Rex. She enjoyed travelling and spending time with Boris as well as travelling with her sister-in-law and brother-in-law and went on many small girls’ trips with her sister and nieces. The family would like to thank the 3rd floor nurses at the Sault Area Hospital and a special thanks to Dr. Jarrett and the physicians that took care of Linda. As per Linda’s wishes, cremation will take place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations to the Sault Area Hospital Cancer Care Fund or ARCH would be appreciated by the family (payable by cheque or online).
