Peacefully at Sault Area Hospital on Thursday February 21, 2013, Adelina Della Penta in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Berto Della Penta. Loving mother of Nick (Lynda), Ada, and the late Tony. Grandmother of Robert (Darlene), Terri Lyn, Stephanie, and Michael. Great Grandmother of Halcyon. Adelina was sister to Luigi Picciano (Emilia) of Montreal, Giusepina Villani (late Nunzio) of Italy, late Dorina Picciano of Italy, Michele Picciano of Montreal, and Lucia Devincenzo (Rosario) of Sault Ste. Marie. Sister-in-law to Nick (Veila) Della Penta. Adelina was a special aunt to many nieces and nephews. Her family, cooking, and her faith sustained her. She was happiest when surrounded by her family, especially during Sunday dinners. Family and friends may call at O’Sullivan Donnelly Funeral Home, corner of Cathcart and St James Sts.
