Peacefully into the loving arms of Jesus on April 2, 2020. Beloved son of Linda and the late Brian Dearing. Brother of Jennifer (Glenn) and Matthew Dearing. Uncle of Britney-Anne (Sebastian), Emma and Nicholas. Cherished grandson of the late William and Bernice Corcoran and the late Walter and Florence Dearing. Nephew of Fred and Sandra Gordon, Bill and Mae Corcoran, Peter and Christina Corcoran, Pat and Pauline Corcoran, Tim Corcoran (Olga), Chris and Gae Corcoran, Bert and Margaret Dearing, Robert Dearing and Blair and Grace Dearing. Cousin of many. Cherished and loved friend of Mario and Joanne Lepore. You may have seen or met Paul in the cafeteria at the Sault Area Hospital, where he volunteered his time Tuesdays and Thursdays, cleaning tables so that customers had a clean table to sit down at. His volunteer hours totaled 800+ and he received his 5-year pin. As his mobility became more and more of an issue, he and his walker had to retire from the job he loved so dearly. Paul was a very avid hockey fan, cheering for the Montreal Canadiens, the St. Louis Blues and especially the Soo Greyhounds. Next year he will be cheering for the Hounds from the best seat in the house! Go Hounds Go!! A special and heartfelt thank you to Dr. John DiFabio and his team who assisted and cared for Paul in ICU and thank you to the EMS for their assistance from Linda Dearing and family. Paul, we love and miss you already. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish (114 MacDonald Ave.  P6B 1H3) or to a charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 215 St. James St.
