Passed away peacefully with dignity on Friday, April 5, 2019 at the age of 97 years.
Edith was predeceased by her loving husband William Glen Darou in 1980 and her parents Percival and Fern. Loving mother of Murray (Louise) of Alberta, Jim (Corri) of Arizona and Ron of Sault Ste. Marie. Proud Grandmother of Tisa (Gary), Glenna (Dan), the late Tracy (Lau), Jillian (Bernie), Jamie (Nicole), Layne (Cait), Colombe (Francois), Maurica (Terry), Joel (Laura), Nicole (Yves) and Kaitlin (Nathan). Great grandmother of 25. Dearest sister of Madge Hill, Gerry and Wendall Evoy, predeceased by William, Beula Palmer, Verna Infanti, Rilla North, Frank, Tony, Ben, Della and Nelda Evoy. Edith is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington Street E. 705-759-2522) for a Memorial Service in the chapel on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at 1 pm. Bishop Todd Very officiating. Her smiling way will always be present to recall. A kindly word for everyone, Edith died beloved by all. Some day we hope to meet again, that day we know not when to clasp her precious hand in a better land. Never to be apart again.
