DANICICH, Branko bio
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Branko Danicich on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at the age of 76.  Born in Kirkland Lake, Ontario - and forever proud to tell you - Branko was raised by his parents, the late Barbara and Ivan, alongside his loving big sister Zorka.  Branko was the loving, nurturing, lucky husband and personal chef of Donna (nee Russon), his princess and the love of his life with whom he raised two incredible sons. Stefan and Garth, whom he considered the best accomplishments of his life, came to him for advice and the occasional unsolicited "dad" joke. Stefan is continuing that painful tradition.  Loving father-in-law of Trace (nee Della Torre), he loved you sweetheart, and grandfather of the joys of his life, Ivy & Russon, whose eyes lit up every time they saw their Deda.  Brother-in-law in good standing to Judy Jolicoeur, Randy and Mary Russon, Karen and John Offidani and Henry Adamson. Son-in-law of the late Fred and Mitzi Russon, whom he adored.  Special uncle of Heather (Emmanuele), Bob (Alain), Valerie (Graeme), Beverly (Todd), Jody, Cathy, Cara, Bob and Meghan as well as great uncle of Ben, Alex, Matthew, Addison, Callan, Tanner, Parker and Sullivan. He also leaves behind extended and surrogate family in Sault Ste. Marie, Greater Toronto Area and Ottawa. Branko taught with the HSCDSB for 35 years where he made countless lifelong friends among his co-workers and former students.  Branko had many "old" friends including Doug, Larry B., Larry M., Rich P., Rolly, Ray, Joe B. and his many hockey, softball and golf buddies who had to endure many a story and joke.  There will be an empty chair at Bay Street Tim Hortons.  Branko enjoyed socializing with neighbours and his daily tour of grocery stores.  Friends are invited to visit at the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E. 705-759-2522) on Friday, October 5, 2018 from 6 pm to 9 pm.  Funeral service to be held in the chapel on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 12 pm.  In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to A.R.C.H. Paediatric or St. Vincent's Place.  Thank you to the first responders, Drs. Landry, MacIntosh, Beduhn and Emergency and ICU nurses, to Jody, Tanner & Parker who stayed at Donna's side and especially to Meghan who helped to keep Auntie Donna supplied with updates and hugs. Thanks to Judy and Karen, Cathy and Jody who held us up with their love and support and to Johnny for being our CEO.  Thank you also to our friends and neighbours for their love and support.

Get ready Lord, you're in for a good debate!
