On Wednesday, April 18th, Alice quietly departed this life to join her late husband, Roy Crowther, late son, Kevin Kean, and her late daughters-in-law Joan Gladwin and Barb Crowther. She was also predeceased by her first husband Jim Kean.
She left behind to mourn and celebrate her life, her beloved son Jeff Kean (Jill Rose), stepson Eric Crowther (Lilli), grandchildren Heather Crowther (Phillippe), Steven Crowther (Lauren), Kevin Gladwin (Tammy), Philip Gladwin (Christine), Lisa Stevens (Paul), Steven Dew (Nancy), Allan Dew and several great-grandchildren.
In accordance with Alice’s wishes, there will be no wake, but in August there shall be a private gathering at her favourite place – Batchawana Bay – on the shores of beautiful Lake Superior.
