Marguerite Teresa Cress passed away at the General Hospital on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 in her 88th year after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She was predeceased by Cecil, her husband of 49 years and her daughter Eileen. Dear mother of Norm (Bobbie) of the Sault, Jack (Diane) of Detroit and Gail Sheppard (Ed Plastino) of the Sault. Loving grandmother of Buddy, Danny, Teresa, Michael & Patrick Cress, Alycia & Bryan Sheppard. Great grandmother (BooBoo) of five. She will be sadly missed by her brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and friends from 55 Chapple Street and John Wesley United Church. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Thursday, March 27 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday, March 28 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Larry Burton officiating. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Canadian Red Cross or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
