Arnold (Barney) Coulter passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Friday, March 21, 2003 with his wife by his side. Loving husband and friend of Mabel (nee Hurley) for 50 years. Beloved father of; Darlene Leistner (Robert) of St. Catharines, Brenda Pierman of Sault Ste. Marie and Leanne McCallum (Brian) of Ottawa. Poppa of Kyle & Scott Leistner, Michael, Craig & Jaimie Pierman and Meghan Ryan. Son of the late Charles and Doris Coulter. Brother of the late Ruby Egely (late John) all of Penticton, B.C. and Pat Ingram of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Brother-in-law of Marie Orchard (late Bernard), Clara Hodgkinson (late Danny), late Bill Hurley (Pat), Ross Hurley (Margaret), Ruby Vaughan (Cy) and Don Hurley (Judy). Fondly remembered by many nieces & nephews. Barney's zest for life came from his 25 years with the Barbershop Chorus, his weekly jaunts to the movies and as an avid Greyhound Hockey fan. He was an inspiration to us all and will be sadly missed. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Monday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday, March 25, from 12:30 p.m. until time of memorial service in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Memorial donations made to the Ontario March of Dimes or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
