Stan W. Corbett passed away peacefully at the Plummer Memorial Hospital Palliative Care Unit on Friday, May 10, 2002 at the age of 85. He is survived by his best friend and loving wife of 60 years, Mary. Beloved father of Stan (Jane), late Susan Morris (Art) and David (Mary). Loving brother of Theresa Prentice, Terry (Elda), Babs Pitt and the late Tommy (Shirley). He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren Katie (Michael Malone), Michael Morris, Sean Allison and Samantha Corbett. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Past-chairman of the Conservation Authority and the Sault North Planning Board. He was the Director of Engineering at Hyland Radio & TV and Huron Broadcasting for 25 years. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Wednesday, May 15 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, May 16 at 11:00 a.m. with The Very Reverend Garry Dobinson officiating.
