It is with broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our treasured mother Carmela, surrounded by her loving family at Extendicare Maple View; you are now reunited with Papa.
Beloved wife of the late Gaetano Coccimiglio. Devoted Mother of Angela Walls (Steve), Dominic Coccimiglio (Nadia) and Dave Coccimiglio (Stephanie). Cherished Nanna of Christina Farand (Nick), Justin Walls (Mathew), Dante and Jesse Coccimiglio, Sadie and Brett Coccimiglio. Her great grandchildren Chase, Charlotte "Charlee" Farand have gained an Angel in heaven. Predeceased by her parents Luisa and Antonio Bruni. Dear sister of the late Maria Bossio (Agostino), Angelo and Emilio Bruni (Maria). Daughter-in-law of the late Domenico and late Angela Coccimiglio. Sister-in-law of the late Nicola (late Ermerinda), late Battista (Rosaria), Mario (Genoeffa) and Frank (late Maria). Carmela will be missed and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was truly the most selfless, genuine, caring person, family was her priority. Her lasagna was a hit at many occasions, she made it with love and pride.
As per Carmela's wishes, there will be a private family service at Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. East 705-759-2522). All Covid-19 restrictions apply. Memorial contributions (payable by cheque or online) to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated.
