(1922 – 2020) - It is with profound sadness that the family of Leo Chauvin announce his peaceful passing in Blind River on Friday, March 20
th, 2020 at the age of 98. He has gone to meet his Creator and join the love of his life, Adrienne. He is survived by his children André (Betty), Sylvia (Richard), Nicole (Ken), Raymond, Gilles (Patti) and Aline; his grandchildren Nicole, Lisa, Marc, Jacques, Paul, Patrick, Justin, Michael, Sasha, Kimberly, Michelle, Stephanie and Danielle and his great grandchildren Andrew, Cody, Luke, Rebecca, Laura, Cormac, Ava, Eli, Theodora, Evan, Ryley, Kiera and Jack. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Thank you to those who gave Leo special care and attention. Donations can be made in Leo’s name though Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road, 705-945-7758) to the North Shore Health Network Blind River. In accordance with the cemetery regulations, immediate family are invited to attend a graveside service at the Blind River Cemetery on Friday, July 31, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. The family invites extended family and friends not in attendance to say a little prayer and reflect on your fondest memories of Leo on that day. Those we have held in our arms for a while, we hold in our hearts forever.
