March 26, 1938 - January 4, 2021

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Louis Charron at the age of 82, on January 4, 2021 at the North Shore Health Network in Blind River. He is reunited with the love of his life, the late Alice Charron (nee Ethier). Louis was born on March 26, 1938 in Verner. Predeceased by his parents Leopold Charron and Emillia Guy and his siblings Gerard Charron (late Rita), Yvette Guerin (late Florian), Fernand Charron (late Claire), Carmen Demers (late Ovila) and Marcel Charron (Aline). He is survived by his sisters Denise Coulombe (late Raymond), Therese Gagnon (Phillipe), Colette Desilets (late Gerard), and Yolande Sauve (late William).

Loving father of Louise Gauthier (Rene) of North Bay, Daniel Charron (Lori) of Espanola, Julien Charron (Wendy) of Espanola and Giselle Chikoski (Mike) of Sault Ste. Marie. Special Pepere to Katrina Chung, Jocelyn Conroy, Melissa Tremblay, Jonathan Gauthier, Kylie Charron and Skylar Charron. Also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Loving stepfather to Diane Shamas (Tom), Suzanne Throop (Brian) and Michael Chouinard (Kerry); as well as Pepere to his step grandchildren Allison Shamas, James Shamas, Bryan Winger, Madison Winger, Mike Chouinard, Savanna Sears, Tracey Chouinard. He was a special friend to Lily Wilkins, “Lillybug” and her family. He so enjoyed their “Sunday drives”.

Louis will be missed for his kind nature and sense of humour. He enjoyed his assisted living apartment with his new family and developed close relationships with his PSW ladies who gave him the attention and special care he deserved. Special thanks to Dr. Snajdrova and Dr. Zhou, the nursing staff and PSW’s at the hospital; as well as the Community Support Services staff who were always there to ensure his well being. A very special thanks to his dear niece Sue Trudeau and Diane Shamas for their devoted care over the past several years.
