David Joseph (Uncle Dave) Chantigny went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, April 24, 2002, in his 80th year. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Nancy (nee Reed) and children David Jr. and Jannine at home (Echo Bay) and Gerald (Theresa) and Theresa (Marcel) of Winnipeg. Son of the late Joseph and Marie-Louise Chantigny. Brother of Albert Chantigny (Blanche) of Sturgeon Falls. Predeceased by 8 brothers and 3 sisters. Beloved grandfather of 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. David will be sadly missed by many brothers and sisters-in-law. Beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews. Uncle Dave was a special friend to Jim Reed and a friend to many in the Echo Bay area. Friends may call at the Barton and Kiteley Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Sunday, April 28, 2002 from 2:00 p.m. until time of the funeral service in the chapel at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor William McLean officiating.
