March 14,1956 - June 19, 2018 - A Celebration of Life for David Gjos will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at the Elks Hall in Echo Bay. Cocktail hour from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life Ceremony at 5 p.m. Part of the Celebration will include live music and a jam. If you play an instrument and want to join in please do. Food will include a light fair of sandwiches and finger food but we are also providing a sampling of wild game to honour David’s love of hunting and fishing. If you share this love and wish to donate an item to the wild game table please bring your finger style food item ready to serve. Children are welcome to attend. Donations to the Dave Gjos Foundation will be accepted at the Celebration by an Arthur Funeral Home representative. A private interment service was held at Desbarats Cemetery. Our heartfelt gratitude to the many family and friends who have shared love, laughter, tears, support, and friendship throughout our journey; and also special acknowledgement to our #GjosStrong Health Team who helped to provide David the compassionate and professional care we needed at home, including: the North East LIN (Ilena Robertson and team), Mary-Catherine Glibota (Dentist), Crystal Spooner (PSW), Lauren Running (RN), Marcie Jones (PSW), Carley Bumbacco (RN), Jeff Rayner (masseuse), Debbie Dorval (RPN foot care), Lori Alcock (Kountry Kuts), Dr. Buehner & Jessica Jancke. #Cause there’s no place like Home.
