Peacefully at the FJ Davey Home on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at the age of 84.
Beloved wife of the late John (Jack) Casey. Dear mother of Erin Casey, Shannon Lavoie (Ken) and Sean Casey (Caroline Porter). Mother-in-law of Jack Lannigan. Proud Nana of the late Patrick Casey, Sean Lannigan, John Lannigan, Genevieve Lavoie (Rocky Scullino), Brendan Lannigan (Janette), Tara Clarke and Kelly Lannigan and many great grandchildren. She enjoyed many years as a teacher in Sault Ste. Marie and enjoyed family time, especially summers at camp at Black Beaver Lake, but found her greatest joy raising her beloved collies. She has crossed over the rainbow bridge to be with them and is currently handing out treats. At Florence's request, no funeral services will be held. In keeping with Florence's love of collies, memorial contributions (payable by cheque) to the Collie Rescue Network would be greatly appreciated.
