Harold Leroy Carter passed away peacefully at his home in Echo Bay on Wednesday March 20, 2002 in his 93rd year. Loving husband and best friend of Irene (McCarrel) for 33 years. Father of John (Laura), Harold Jr. (Chris), Michael (Joy) and the late David all of West Virginia. Dear grandfather of seven. Son of the late John and Alice (West) Carter of Gordon Lake. Brother-in-law of Wibur Wright (late Annie), late John McCarrel (late Beulah), Mary Williams (late Harry), Archie McCarrel (Vi), Reta McCarrel, Phyllis Smith (Don), Jean Robbins (Clarence). Son-in-law of the late Archie Russell and Mary McCarrel of Sylvan Valley. Friends may call at the Barton and Kiteley Funeral Home on Saturday, March 23, 2002 from 1:00pm. until time of funeral service in the chapel at 3:00.
