CARTER, Arnolda Marie (nee Guitard)

Passed away at the Sault Area Hospital peacefully on Monday, August 15, 2022 after suffering for years with severe Alzheimer's Disease at the F.J. Davey Home.

Predeceased by her husband William (Bill) and her daughter Denise Hugli (Brent).  Loving mother of William (Will) (Susan) and John (Marie).  Grandmother of Renée Hugli, Marissa Korab (John), Jacob Carter (Carly) and Rebekah Trerise (Tony).  Great grandmother of Daemon and Griffin Hugli, Cayden Korab, Andrew and Joshua Carter, Lincoln and Vincent Trerise. Daughter of the late Oscar and Rosia Guitard.  Sister of the late Yvan Guitard (Jackie), Vina Roy (late Peter), late Ligouri Guitard, Mariette Pitre (Raymond), late Alexandrine Duguay (late Wilfred), late Donnia Guitard, Reginald Guitard (Blanche) and late Jean Claude Guitard (Gisele).  Daughter in-law of the late Harold and Florence Carter.  Sister-in-law of the late Agatha and Bert MacDonald, late Fred and Doris Carter and late Jack and Mary Carter.

Friends are invited to visit at Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E. 705-759-2522) on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 from 9:30 am until time of service in the chapel at 10:30 am.  Mrs. Helen Smith officiating.  Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.  Memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated.

Special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff on 3B at the Sault Area Hospital for their care and compassion.  The family would also like to recognize the staff at the F.J. Davey Home for their long care and attention to Arnolda.
