CANDURO, EUGENE ERNEST

Passed away peacefully with family by his side at the Sault Area Hospital, on Saturday January 12, 2013, in his 79_^th year. Beloved husband of Anne Canduro. Loving father of Larry (Susan), Mark (Roberta), and Carolyn Chaffay (late Ron). Dearly loved Nono of Drew, Anna and Laryssa; Ryan and Steven; and Michael. Predeceased by his brother Leonard (late Jean), and sister Lea Sibenik (late Frank). Brother-in-law of the late Mary Dakin (Jack), Stella Gray (Roger) and Bill Mendak. Special uncle of many nieces and nephews. Eugene was a devoted family man and loved life to the fullest. His passions were going camping, fishing and enjoying his grandchildren. He will be remembered as a kind, generous and thoughtful person. Always ready to lend a helping hand. His smile brought warmth to those around him. One always felt good when with Eugene. He will be greatly missed. A private family service was held at St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church with Father Jaroslaw Lazoryk officiating. A special thank you to the many doctors and nurses at the Sault Area Hospital for all their compassionate care, especially the nurses on 3B and ICU. Memorial donations to the Sault Area Hospital or St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church Building Fund would be appreciated.
