Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the General Hospital on Sunday, April 25, 2004 at the age of 85. Loving husband of Sylvia (Harmon). Beloved father of Bill (Claudette), Bonnie Scott (Dean), Bob (Carol) and Barry (Janet). Special grandfather of Julie McEachren (Cameron), Billy-Joe Bye (Pamela), Jodi Orm (Ted), Jaymee Bye, George Bye (Shelly), Duane Trainor (Allyson), Michele Trainor-Schmidt (Ron), Bobbi Reid (Tony DeSilva), Jay Scott (friend Colleen), Misty Bye, Cindll Bye, Mackenzie Bye and Walker Bye. Great grandfather of Cameron, Graeme, Brooklyn, Cater, Wyatt, Autumn, Cedar, Maitland and Keaton. Brother of Jack (Alieta) Bye. Elgie is predeceased by 2 sisters Mae Rymal (late Eldon) and Nina Williams (late Clare). Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Wednesday, April 28, 2004 from 1 pm until time of memorial service in the chapel at 3 pm. Rev. Jan Schenell officiating.
