It is with great sadness that the family of Alfredo Bruni announces his passing at the Sault Area Hospital on Friday, September 18, 2020 at the age of 85. Alfredo will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 57 years, Assunta and his children, Lou (Julie) and Rosa Derych (Bill). Proud and adored nono of Olivia and William.
Predeceased by his parents Pasquale and Anna Maria Bruni. Son in law of the late Pasquale and Rosina Perri. Loving brother to the late Guiseppe (Rosaria), late Gemma Feraco (late Rosario), late Guerino (Antonietta), late Battista (Lina), late Carmela Bruno (late Orlando), late Francesco, late Michele (Antonietta) and Maria Iacoe (late Giovanni). Fondly remembered by his sister in laws, Adelina Iacoe (late Pietro), Maria Policicchio (late Agostino), and Ida Filice (late Francesco) of Italy. Kind uncle to many nieces and nephews.
A private family service by invitation only will be held on Monday, September 21, 2020 at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758). Father Trevor Scarfone officiating. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
