Passed away peacefully with his children by his side at the Sault Area Hospital on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at the age of 95.  

Loving husband of the late Lorna (nee Corrigan) for over 66 years.  Proud father of Brenda Filek (Marvin), Barry Brooks (Faye), Beryl McGauley (John), and Barb Ritchie (Larry).  Cherished grandfather of Kelli (Paul), Jason, Madeline, Robert, Sara (Greg), Alison (Matt), Rebecca (Krasi), Matthew (Carli), and Liza (Connor).  Adoring great-grandfather of Brock, Morgan, Austin, Rhyan, Jackson, Elliette, Sawyer, Gavin, Mackenzie, Alexa, and Charlotte.  Brother of Lloyd (late Connie) and Jack (Eva).  Brother-in-law of Don Corrigan (late Grace).  Uncle to many nieces and nephews.  

Albert had various jobs throughout his working life including being an officer with the Canadian Border Services and ending his career in sales at Sears.  He served in the Royal Canadian Navy as a Communications Officer on the H.M.C.S. Mimico.  He was a Mason, belonged to the Scottish Rite, and was also a Shriner.  His interests include international travelling, and a love of music, boats and ships.  

Friends are invited to visit with the family at the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E. 705-759-2522) on Saturday, January 25, 2020 from 10 am to 12 pm.  A private memorial service will follow in the chapel with Rev.
