With heavy hearts the Boyer family announces the passing of Rosemary at her home in Thessalon. Much loved sister of Valarie Duguay (Victor), John Boyer (Suzanne), Patricia Bouchard (late Eaucher), late Loretta Rivet, late Shirley Trudeau (Jack), and late Calvin Harris. Very special aunt and great aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Rosemary lived all her life in Thessalon, a place she loved to call home. She enjoyed walking from her home to Main Street smiling, waving and talking with town folk all the way. She enjoyed coffee gatherings and lunches downtown with extended family and friends.
In her younger years Rosemary traveled to countries all over the world. As much as she loved sharing stories and pictures of her travels everyone loved hearing her stories. Rosemary worked over 30 years at the Carolyn Beach where she developed long lasting relationships with locals and visitors. In her later years, Rosemary treasured summers at the park with Valarie, long telephone chats with Pat and gambling excursions with John. Rosemary was 95% happy throughout her life. If she was ever upset or angry it was because the bingo caller said N34 when she was waiting for N33 or because the free spins at the casino netted her less than 2 dollars. Rosemary had many friends who she travelled with to the bingo and the casino. She enjoyed and appreciated the company of Victor Wabigwan, Victoria Wabigwan, Hilda Sloan and many others who offered rides and friendships. She especially cherished the company of her dearest friend and confidant Nancy Wardell.
The family wishes to thank paramedics and O.P.P for their prompt attention and consideration.
A celebration of Rosemary’s life will be held at a later date.
