BOYER, Joseph

Peacefully at ARCH with his family by his side on June 21, 2022, at the age of 82. Husband of Barbara (nee Gagnon). Father of Cheryl Lynn and Brad (Debbie). Grandfather of Christopher Lamouri and great grandfather of Zoe, Quintin, Logan, and Charlotte. Predeceased by his parents Tom and Susan Boyer. Survived by his brother Clarence (Marci) and predeceased by his brothers and sisters; Rose (Elmer) Dowding, Don (Cora), Ann (Jack) Grisdale, Paul (Lyla), Pat (Collette) and Tom (Georgina). Survived by his brothers and sisters in law Joyce Sandvik (late Eric), Pat Gagnon (Jerry), Ken Gagnon (Leona), Allan Gagnon (Lona), and predeceased by Velma Penly (Gord), Louise Watson (Jule), William Gagnon, Olive Jarrell (Joe), Gail O’Donnell (Charlie), Lois Thomas (Jim), and Ronald Gagnon. Uncle to many nieces and nephews.

As per Joseph’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services. The family would like to thank the Sault Area Hospital Dialysis Unit, ARCH, U CAB drivers Ron and Steve, Bayshore Nurses, and our neighbours George and George for all their help. Memorial donations may be made to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation Renal Care Fund or ARCH (payable online or by cheque).
