Eileen will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Eileen was an amazing woman. Strong, loving matriarch, who with her loving husband Joe, grew roots for an extended family tree. The lives of each and every member were her ultimate pride and joy. Eileen was the whole package. SUGAR and SPICE. Always ready with hugs, kisses and compliments and eagerly sharing her frank opinions on everything. She was a DIVA with her long-coloured nails, beautiful curly hair and coordinated fashions which often included her favourite colour purple. Eileen loved sports, especially her beloved Maple Leafs. She enjoyed many happy days at her cabin on the lake. Eileen loved to be on the move walking many miles over the years and later completing speedy wheelchair circles around the halls of Maple View. Eileen leaves behind a lasting legacy. But even more she left a legacy of faith and strength and most of all great love. A life well lived. She will be greatly missed. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Friday, August 14, 2020 from 12 noon until 2:00 p.m. (maximum 40 people, masks are required). A private family service will follow. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to ARCH would be greatly appreciated by the family.
