It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Charles on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at the Maple View Extendicare Nursing Home at the age of 75. Loving husband of Lynda. Cherished son of the late Charles Weldon and Aldine Blake of West Frankfort, Illinois. Beloved son-in-law of the late Celinda and Richard Fiacconi of Sault Ste. Marie. Loving brother of Cheryl Lynn Robinson (Earl) of Illinois. Predeceased by his sister and brother Sharon Gore and Billy Joe Blake of Illinois. Charles will be very sadly missed by his aunts and his many cousins and friends. Charlie’s enthusiasm and love of line dancing brought smiles and enjoyment to so many and will be missed. As per his wishes a private funeral service was held at Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre (492 Wellington St. East, 705-759-2522). Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. The family would like to thank Dr. Aziz, Dr. Czeiffer, Dr. Matthew, the nursing and personal support workers and the kitchen staff at Maple View McCarroll Lake for the care and support they have given Charles during his stay there for the past year.
