Passed away peacefully in his 76th year. Father of Yvon Blais (deceased), Mona Viel (Denis) and Lynn Blais (Jody). Husband of Denise Gelinas. Son of the late Lucien and the late Marie-Jeanne Blais (nee Dumais). Brother of Jacqueline Coghlan (predeceased), Hugette Blais (Regent), Suzanne Sonier (Raymond), Gerald Blais (Loretta), Bernard Blais (predeceased), Roland Blais (Pauline) and Rejean Blais (predeceased).

Will be laid to rest with his late son Yvon Blais in Elliot Lake. Date of graveside ceremony pending lifting of restrictions.
