Robert Black passed away peacefully at the General Hospital, with his family by his side, on Saturday, August 10, 2002 at the age of 70 years. Beloved husband of the late Rena Black. Dear father of Ronnie, Emil (Beth Fredrick), Justin, Hector and Arnold (Dianne). Proud Papa of Casey, Giselle, Lloyd, Melissa, Robert, Angie and Ashley. Great grandfather of Lily. Loving brother of Victoria keen (late Alick), Alice Manary (Dennis) and the late Howard, William (Irene), Ronald and Georgina. Robert will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Thursday, August 15 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. Luke's Cathedral on Friday, August 16 at 12:00 p.m. with the Very Rev. Garry Dobinson officiating. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
