Belair, Mrs Lucienne

After a courageous battle with cancer, at the Blind River District Health Centre on Saturday February 16, 2013 with family and friends by her side.  Lucienne Belair in her 93rd year, wife of the late John L. Belair.  Loving mother of John Paul ( Rosemary ) of Midland, Gilles ( Barbara ) of Brandon Manitoba, André ( Alice ) of Blind River, Jacques ( Brenda ) of Cambridge and Charles of Blind River.  Special Memère to 8 grandchidlren and 6 great grandchildren.  Dear sister of Rheal Desroches ( late Emilda ), Lionel Desroches ( Dean )  both of Lafontaine and the late Claire ( late Charles ), Carrie ( late Armand ), Aveline ( late Alphire ), Austin ( late Evelyn ), Marie ( late Bill ), Marjorie ( late Jérome ), Simone ( late Herbie ), Donat ( late Alpha ) and Edilbert ( late Therèse ).  Dear daughter of the late Wilfred and Melanie Desroches.  Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many many friends.  Lucienne was an accomplished seamstress and was very active in the church.  She earned the respect of the community for her many accomplishments.  Friends may call at the Menard Funeral Home, Blind River on Tuesday February 19th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm.  Funeral service at Paroisse Ste. Famille, Blind River on Wednesday February 20, 2013 at 11 o’clock.  Spring interment in Hillside Cemetery, Blind River.  Donations to the Blind River District Health Centre Foundation or Paroisse Ste.
