It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Kurt Belair on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at the age of 54.

Loving soulmate of Sarah Blonda (Mother of Niko and Avery Blonda). Beloved son to Carol and Don Belair. Brother and best friend to Kim (Bobbi-Jo). Adored uncle to Tianna (Justin) and Bodie. Bonus bro to Scott & Niki Corcoran and Stephanie Storms. Son in law to Cindy Bromley. Predeceased by his grandparents Carl & Betty Harris and Donat & Marthe Belair. Survived by many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and extended families.

Kurt will forever be missed by his best friends Gale & Sulev Rauk and jiving with the good time gang out in Goulais. Nothing made Kurt happier than lending a helping hand. As his close friends would say he was the "Jack of all trades". He will fondly be remembered by his Tenaris work family, his many hunting and fishing buddies, and his Roosevelt St. neighbours. Kurt took great pride in his yard and loved the additions he was able to add to make it a playground for Niko and Avery to feel at home.

The family would like to thank the First Responders and SAH Emergency department for their kindness and compassion during this difficult time.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Kurt's life will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.  Arrangements entrusted to Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E. -705-759-2522). Please visit www.arthurfuneralhome.com to leave a message of condolence as a keepsake for Kurt's family.

YOU NEVER SAID GOODBYE

You never said I'm leaving,
you never said goodbye.
You were gone before I knew it,
And only God knew why.

A million times I needed you,
a million times I cried.
If love alone could have saved you,
You never would have died.

In life I loved you dearly,
in death I love you still.
In my heart you hold a place,
that no one could ever fill.

It broke my heart to lose you,
but you didn't go alone.
For part of me went with you,
the day God took you home.
