BELAIR, Eva Marie

(January 24, 1919 – October 31, 2012) Our dear precious mother has left to join her husband Charlie of 64 years, her oldest daughter Joyce and her youngest son Leo (Elke). Mom leaves behind her children Roger, Victor (Anita) and Diane.  She had 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and she was godmother to several.  Eva will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and many friends that called her “Mom”.  Her beautiful smile, sense of humour and cheerfulness stole your heart.  She always kept interested in what you were doing in life.  She had a huge heart, was always giving of herself.  When she owned a tourist home in Wawa she would take in the homeless and the needy.  She would always say “There is always enough, we just have  to  share!”  Our grateful thanks to the Great Northern Nursing Home, Mom loved all the staff.  She told us they were always pleasant to her.  At Eva’s request, a private funeral will be held.  In lieu of flowers, donations to ARCH or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.  Mom was a spirited person, who loved people.  Mom you will forever be in our hearts.
