Boleslaw (Benny) (Bob) Bednarz passed away peacefully on Thursday. May 2, 2002 surrounded by his loving family at the age of 69. Endearing husband and best friend of Sandra for 49 years. Loving father of Christine Tallon (John Major), Patty Bednarz (Bryan Zentner), Nancy Bordin (Mark), Jim Bednarz (Kim), Tara, Steven, Kristen, Spencer, Tiffany, and his companion Tasha. Pra-Dziadziu of Kryssie and Mackenzie. Dear brother of Mary Hansen (Sig) of Edmonton and the late Eddy (Anne) and the late Chester (Sue). Dear brother-in-law of George Grunt (Ursula), Mila Sikorski (Stan), late Mania Kulakowska of Poland, Ania Dziergas (late Emil), Ted Grunt (Anna) and the late Victor Matthews (Pat). Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Special friend of Frank, Bill and many neighbours who affectionately knew him as "mayor" of Dryden Avenue. Benny was also a retired Algoma Steel employee.
