It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Francesco (Frank) Battocchio. Husband of Silvana (Bisceglia), father of Christina (Steve) DeLuca, Lori (Marc) Stanghetta, Frank (Nicole) Battocchio, Michael (Crelene) Battocchio, and Daniel (Kaitlin) Battocchio, nonno to Cole, Alexei, Dean DeLuca, Hugh, Ava, Abby Stanghetta, Mason, Maxim, Maggie Battocchio, Aiden, Evan, Anika Battocchio. Frank’s family would like to express their gratitude to the many nurses and doctors for their care and compassion. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with Memorial Mass to follow at St. Gregory’s Church at 1:00 p.m. with Father Alex Saurianthadathil officiating.  Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Sault Area Hospital would be greatly appreciated. www.northwoodfuneral.com
