It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Stacey at his home on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at the age of 54.
Cherished son of the late Leonard and Rita Barbarie. Dear brother of Larry (late Deloris), Derrick (Lyn), Mark (Mariette), Greg (Julie), Randy (Brenda) and Michelle Bell (Cory). Uncle to many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his beloved canine companion, Wookie.
Stacey enjoyed fishing, watching hockey games and spending time with family and friends. Stacey was one of the kindest and goodhearted gentleman you would ever meet. He was always willing to lend a helping hand whenever he could and was very appreciative when he received help from others.
A heartfelt thank you to all the special people that have assisted and brought happiness to Stacey over the years, you are truly amazing individuals.
A celebration of Stacey's life in the spring followed by interment at Maple Leaf Cemetery will be announced at a later date. Memorial donations payable to Sault Area Hospital Cancer Care Fund or the Echo Bay United Church would be greatly appreciated.
