Egidio Barban passed way peacefully on Sunday, January 5, 2003 at the General Hospital at the age of 79 years. Loving Husband of Ines. Beloved father of Christine Braimoh (Gani) and Mary Ann Barban (David Hunkeler). Cherished Grandpa of Jessica, Lola and Fatima Braimoh. Dear brother of Lisetta Turchet (Francesco) and predeceased by his brothers Vittorio (Irma), Primo (Nina), Guido (Lina of Sault Ste. Marie), Guerino (Maria), Guiglio (Corina), Girogio (Rina of Ottawa), Alberto (Sylvanna of Italy), Guiseppe (Dori) and his sisters Matilda Masserotto (Narcisio) and Albina Del Pup (Evo). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Wednesday, January 8 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, January 9 at St. Veronica's Church at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Paul Conway officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Mausoleum. The family would appreciate memorial contributions to St. Veronica's Church or to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation.
