Roy Alexander Anderson passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Plummer Memorial Hospital on Sunday, September 8, 2002 at the age of 77. Eternally at rest with his cherished wife, Florence (nee Harnum). Survived by his loving children Ed (Mary) of Flagstaff, Arizona, Elaine Bohlender (David) of Victoria, BC and Rob of Toronto. Beloved grandfather of Jennifer, Tim, Robin, Riley, Nicholas, and Carolyn. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Roy is predeceased by his brothers Edwin and Stewart and sisters Shirley, Margaret, and Sal. Friends may call at the Barton and Kiteley Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Friday, September 13, from 11:00 a.m. until time of the funeral service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Mr. Ed Anderson officiating. A reception will follow at Pathways Retirement Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the M.S. Society of Canada or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
