 (1920-2020)

Passed away peacefully on March 23, 2020 at the F.J. Davey Home in her 100th year. Ann was a kind, gentle soul who was always smiling and singing - she sang right up until the very end. She loved her boys dearly. She will always be in our hearts and we have so many fond memories of her, especially her cooking. Beloved wife of the late Antonio (Tony) Amato. Dear mother of Michael (Fran), Frank, Vince (Marie) and Henry (Shelly). Loving nanny to Robert, Marc, Emma, Jamie (Dianna), Anthony, Jessica Calic (Paul), Sara, Adam and Aaron (Lorena). Great grandmother to Calem, Declan and Jack. Predeceased by her parents Frank and Lucia Raffaele, sisters Ursula Barone (Frank), Emma DiPasquale (Remo), Victoria (Grosso) Fleming (John) and brothers Tony and Fred (Ellen).  Daughter-in-law of the late Michele Amato and Maria Concetta. Survived by her dear sister-in-law Carmela Palmerio (late Dominic).  Ann will be missed by her extended family and friends. A celebration of Ann's life will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the F.J. Davey Home would be appreciated (www.fjdaveyhome.org/donations). The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff at F. J. Davey Home who cared for our mother.   Arrangements entrusted to O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 215 St. James St.
