Brenda Ann Albert (nee Perry) went home to be with the Lord on 23 July,
2021, after a short but valiant battle with pancreatic cancer. Brenda
was in her 67th year.

Loving daughter of the late Pat J Perry of Sault Ste Marie and Frances
Winifred Perry (White) of Croyden, UK, who passed just two weeks prior.
Caring sister to Colleen (late), Janice, Carol (Bob), Karen (Scott), and
Trevor.

Beloved wife to Charles Albert of Guelph for 26 years. Devoted mother to
Jennifer Kurylowicz (Ben) of Australia, Matt (Robyn) and Brian
Albert-Jones of Bowmanville, Debra (Paul) and Shane Albert of Guelph,
and Brittany and Brandon Albert of Brantford. Cherished "Grammy" to Lily
of Brantford, Winnie and Bella of Australia, Carson, Blake, Kaitlyn,
Devin and Breanna of Bowmanville.

Brenda was born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, where she was
active in the community through local politics, support to women in
crisis, and local theatre.

Brenda (and daughter Jennifer) moved to Guelph, Ontario in 1991 to
pursue a Masters of Industrial and Organizational Psychology at the
University of Guelph, and later a PhD at the University of Toronto in
the same field.

Brenda accepted Jesus as her Lord and Saviour in 1996 and devoted her
life to following God's call. This led to serving at the Guelph Vineyard
Church for nine years, many local community outreaches, and fostering
more than 14 children with her husband. Brenda never had a shortage of
love to give and each of her children, biological through to foster,
felt loved as her own. Brenda also lovingly endured years of her
husband's corny jokes, still laughing after hearing them daily.

Brenda was a committed and selfless friend to many. Special friendships
with Marie (late), Pat, Kath, and Lesley, were treasured by her.

Brenda had a love of reading, the beach, travel, and was known for
always being at the ready to sing or play with her grandchildren. Her
vivid imagination as a child never wavered as an adult and made her the
best playmate.

A special thank you for the care and compassion of the nursing staff at
Bayshore HealthCare and PSWs at CarePartners during Brenda's hospice
care at home.
