It is with great sorrow that the family of Peter Adamo announces his sudden passing at the age of 83 in Milton, ON on August 4th, 2019. Peter was born in Sault Ste. Marie, ON to Eda and William Adamo (both deceased) on March 26, 1936. Peter will be remembered as a loving husband to his wife Cyndie and devoted father to his children, Kathi (Greg), Geoff (Monica), Glenn, Gary and Drew (Susan). He was an outstanding “Pa” to his grandchildren; Ryan, Hannah, Liah and Sarah. Peter will be forever remembered by his siblings, Sarah (Sergio, deceased) Fabbro, Cecilia (Jim) St. Germain, Eugene (deceased), Edith (Jerry) Nichols as well as his many nieces and nephews. Peter had spent his entire career as a professional mechanical engineer with Kimberly Clarke and had been fortunate to enjoy an extensive and busy retirement, as he preferred. He will be dearly missed by everyone who had the pleasure to have known him. Special thanks to the Halton Region first responders for their care and tremendous effort to try to save our Dad. In keeping with Peter’s wishes, a private family service was held at the McKERSIE-KOCHER FUNERAL HOME 114 Main St. E. Milton 905-878-4452 on Thursday August 8, 2019 . A celebration of his life will be planned for a later date. If wished, donations in memory of Peter to The Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
