It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of the heart of our family. Peacefully at ARCH with family by her side on Friday February 7, 2020 at the age of 75.
Beloved wife of 52 years of Dennis. Loving mother of Kevin (Amanda), David and Karen (Dave). Adored Nana of Alyssa, Cole, Brody and Austin. Predeceased by her parents Mary and Alexander Gillis. Sister of Alex (Connie), Donnie (Debbie), Leo (Anne), Esther (Stan), Louise (Gerry), Margaret (Donnie), Jamie, Donna (Al) and Barbara (Doug). Predeceased by her siblings Aggie (late George), Eddie, Jimmy and Martha. Predeceased by her beloved nephew Gerald MacNeil. Sister-in-law of Ernie (Linda), Clayton (Carol) and Jean Ann (Robert). She will be missed be her many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Linda’s Life will be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church (114 MacDonald Ave) at 10:00am on Monday February 17, 2020 with Father Paul Conway officiating.
The family would like to thank Dr. Spadafora and the staff at ARCH. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Linda’s memory may be made to the Sault Area Hospital Cancer Care Fund.
