QMJHL Roundup: Langois' tallies four points, Wildcats maul Sea Dogs in 6-3 win

MONCTON, N.B. — Moncton's Francis Langois opened the scoring in the first frame and closed the game with a goal in the final minute as the Wildcats downed the Saint John Sea Dogs 6-3 in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League play Sunday. 

Langois also contributed a pair of assists and Jacob Hudson added two goals and a helper for the Wildcats (10-15-3), while Maxim Barbashev tallied one of each and Thomas Darcy also scored. 

Cam MacDonald responded with a pair for the Sea Dogs (14-12-4) and Zachary Alchorn rounded out the scoring. 

Moncton goalie Vincent Filion stopped 29-of-32 shots and Zachary Emond had 25 saves for Saint John.

ISLANDERS 7 EAGLES 3

CHARLOTTETOWN, PEI. — Cedric Desruisseaux tallied two goals and two assists as the No. 1 Islanders (32-5-0) dumped the Eagles (12-24-1), extending their losing streak to five games.
