OTTAWA — Forward Nick Paul has signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Ottawa Senators.

The contract is worth US$650,000 in the NHL and $80,000 in the AHL.

The 23-year-old Paul had one goal in 11 games with Ottawa last season. He had 14 goals and 13 assists in 54 games with the AHL's Belleville Senators.

The native of Mississauga, Ont., was acquired by the Senators in a deal that sent Jason Spezza to the Dallas Stars on July 1, 2014.
