Canadian Roger Sloan tied for fourth at Web.com Tour event

FINDLEY LAKE, United States — Canadian golfer Roger Sloan is tied for fourth entering the final round of the Web.com Tour's Lecom Health Challenge.

Sloan, of Merritt, B.C., shot an 8-under 64 on Saturday to put him at 14 under for the tournament. He made seven birdies in a row from Nos. 11-17 to vault into contention at the event on the PGA Tour's feeder circuit.

The 31-year-old is four shots back of leader Sebastian Munoz of Colombia.

Vancouver's Seann Harlingten, the only other Canadian to make the cut, is tied for 71st at 2 under.

Sloan is 50th on the Web.com money list. The top 25 at the end of the regular season earn PGA Tour cards for next season.
