Canada's mixed relay team takes silver at World Para Nordic Skiing Championships

PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. — Canada's mixed relay team captured silver in the 4x2.5 kilometre race on Saturday at the World Para Nordic Skiing Championships.

Collin Cameron of Sudbury, Ont., Emily Young of North Vancouver, B.C., Natalie Wilkie from Salmon Arm, B.C., and Mark Arendz of Springton, P.E.I. combined for a time of 27 minutes 46.6 seconds.

Ukraine won gold in 27:19.2 and Germany was third.

The medal was Canada's seventh of the worlds.

Canada's all-men's team finished eighth in the 4x2.5-kilometre open relay, completing the race in 28:47.4.

The worlds wrap-up on Sunday with the cross-country ski distance races.
