Babouli helps MetroStars top Tropics 10-0 in Mississauga's first home-opener

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Molham Babouli had a hat trick and two assists as the Mississauga MetroStars thumped the Florida Tropics 10-0 on Saturday.

It was the inaugural home opener for the MetroStars, who are in the midst of their first Major Arena Soccer League season.

Canadian soccer great Dwayne De Rosario scored and had three assists for Mississauga (1-1), while Martinho Dumevski had a pair of goals and an assist. Lerohne Young, Alen Kucalovic and Sebastian Lopez rounded out the attack.

Goalkeeper Adrian Becic made nine saves for the clean sheet.

Jorge Navarrete stopped 23 shots for Florida (1-1).
