Adam Svensson finishes 14th on Web.com money list to earn PGA Tour card

NORTH PLAINS, Ore. — Despite missing the cut at the WinCo Foods Portland Open earlier this weekend with an even-par 142 through two rounds, Adam Svensson has earned a PGA Tour card for next season.

The native of Surrey, B.C., finished 14th on the Web.com money list with earnings of US $190,825. The top 25 get to move up to the PGA next year.

Svensson, 24, won the Bahamas Great Abaco Classic in January and had four top-10 finishes this season.

He also finished in a tie for fifth at the Nashville Golf Open and in a tie for sixth at the Chitimacha Louisiana Open.

Ryan Yip of Calgary wrapped up the Portland Open in a tie for 49th at 4 under on Sunday.
