TORONTO — Some of the most active companies traded Tuesday on the Toronto Stock Exchange: 

Toronto Stock Exchange (17,274.25, up 179.72 points)

Aurora Cannabis Inc. (TSX: ACB). Health care. Up $2.60, or 27.69 per cent, at $11.99 on 15.01 million shares.

Suncor Energy Inc. (TSX: SU). Energy. Up $1.07, or 4.88 per cent, at $22.99 on 13.25 million shares.

Air Canada (TSX: AC). Industrials. Up $1.88, or 8.67 per cent, at $23.57 on 11.89 million shares.

Cenovus Energy Inc. (TSX: CVE). Energy. Up 16 cents, or 2.33 per cent, at $7.02 on 11.03 million shares.

Manulife Financial Corp (TSX: MFC). Financials. Up 87 cents, or 4.01 per cent, at $22.58 on 9.99 million shares.

iShares S&P/TSX 60 Index ETF Index (TSX: XIU). Up eight cents, or 0.31 per cent, at $25.97 on 9.68 million shares.

Companies in the news: 

Imperial Oil Ltd. (TSX:IMO). Up 90 cents, or 3.75 per cent, at $24.91. Imperial Oil says it will relinquish its contract to provide business management services to Syncrude Canada Ltd. when Suncor Energy Inc. takes over as operator of its oilsands mine and upgrader works at the end of 2021. Under the contract, which has been in place for about 14 years, staff from Imperial were seconded to certain positions at Syncrude and provided people to assist in implementing strategies, while Syncrude remained the day-to-day operator.
